It’s time for a bit more Mermay! I coloured up Deirdery to use for a “half way through the challenge” post, but liked her, and once my friends had helped me choose the perfect sentiment, made her into a card. Here is a bit about Mermay at Dr.Digis, in case you missed it!
And here is the card I made! I like the gold tone in it, I wanted to escape from all my normal pink and turquoise tones!
Here is the Deirdery Dunderton stamp I altered, really I just chopped her off below the arms, sounds harsh, lol.
And here is a close up of what I did to her. We are officially calling this a mermyfication! lol! I loved creating her new Mermaid shape and the colours!
I layered her up with some Lawn Fawn and Sunny Studio Papers and some bling from the stash!
I also added the sentiment picked by my friends, I couldn’t decide what suited her best. Here was my survey post, in case you missed it.
There is still plenty of time to enter Mermay and join in the fun, there aren’t many rules and just as many points for fun ideas as super skilled colouring, so don’t be put off!
