Back with the Department of Mermaid!!! And this time “I dream of Genie” has had a Mermay upgrade as inspo for the Mermay Challenge over on Dr.Digi’s!

And here is a close up of my alteration! Basically I converted the smoke balls into fishes and swapped out his lamp for a shell. I printed him grey scale and (sort of) removed the bottom of the image, so mainly this was over-colouring!
Did I get super distracted colouring Oranda goldfish? Yes, yes I did, but aren’t they cute? lol! I used to own goldfish, and still miss them very much ❤ I added some watery, seaweedy colours in the background too, so he had a place to sit on, he was a bit oddly floating without any background. I used papers from the stash to matt and layer him, and some bling from the stash too. Font is my all time favourite, East Coast Stationery.
Hope you enjoyed some ore inspo, I think I could probably add a tail to any image in the shop now, but I think you will be super impressed by the utter weirdness of my next inspo card!
