Edgar the…bird?

So about 7 years ago I had a good card idea. I know, just the one, but nevermind eh! And it was to combine the awesome Desmond the Dodo digi from Dr.Digi’s with the “A little bird told me” sentiment. And here I am 7 years later awkwardly rehashing that idea! This time though the sentiment is starring Edgar the Raven.

And here is a close up of my version. Polychromo pencils on Kendal Manilla Buff Cardstock with some white highlights using White Posca Pen. Raven beaks are super interesting by the way, if you want to google something random! 🙂

For my background I recoloured one of the Sepia Stripes Backing Paper Set (my fav!) and printed it directly onto 300gsm card to make my coloured card blank.

I layered him onto the blank with 3D foam and added some bling from the stash in the corner. Fonts I used are called Apple Butter and Complete in Him.

Thanks for joining me for another bird post, not sure why I am all about the bird colouring at the moment but it could be worse 🙂 Does that make me a colour-twitcher? Hum….lol.
