Spring has Sprung Again!

So I think I mentioned last DT post that I had made a pair of Cherise Easter Cards, and this is the second one! Using Cherise – You Are a Blessing To Me, but with an Easter modification, lol!

Here she is in the shop

Here is a close up of my version –

So as you can tell, I turned those pumpkins into eggs! I stamped the image lightly in SA Birch Hybrid Ink and that was light enough to change the shape of the pumpkins. I kept the layout though, and the ribbon, from the original stamp.

As with the last card, I took the sentiment from the Louise – you crack me up stamp.

I coloured her with polychromo pencils on Kendal Manilla Buff Cardstock! And thought she would look great teamed up with the egg basket paper from the Welcome Spring Paper Pad and some little egg shells from the Crack Me Up Sprinkles

As with my previous Easter card I used a couple of mushrooms from the Woodland Die Set and my main window I used the rectangle from the Shaker Basic 2 Die Set.

I used some teal ribbons from my stash to make a horizontal band behind her and SA Hybrid Shocking Pink Ink to stamp my greeting. I also decided she needed something on her head band, so grabbed a dot from Spring Bunny Sprinkle Mix and a couple of eggs from the Easter Eggs Sprinkle Mix.

Here are the final two cards together –

How do you feel about making cards that related to each other? Or making sets of cards? I really like it, it’s always useful to have spares, and when you make cards for twins, super useful! lol.
