My penultimate catch-up post! Finally nearing the end of the outstanding posts list! I seem to have been at it for ages, lol! This card was a lot of work, though I really wanted to have a go at a “Shadow Box” style card regardless of how hard it might be. This was a commission card and the stamp I used was called Bunny Hearts Girl from Conie Fong.
So the theme was pink and grey and I love working with a restricted palette, I think it makes me more creative, some how! The bunny and balloons are coloured with Copics.
I used some Joy die clouds with some stickles like embellishments around the edges.
For the background I used memory box scenery dies and some stitched cloud dies (can’t remember brand).
I was really pleased with how it came out! I wanted to still make it a traditional side opening card, so worked that into the design, also I think customers like to write inside the card, not just on the back 🙂 Loved working with a Connie Fong image, I have always admired her work.
