Phone Home Part 1

When the Movie came out, I think I went to see it with my Dad. He bought me a cuddly version of E.T. after (I still have it) and hid it in with all my other teddies, just like in the film. I didn’t spot it for ages, lol! Little E.T. in my first photo, is also from that time. Hard to believe that’s more than 40 years ago. I am so old! lol.

Here is my super cute E.T. chibi from the Phone Home Set from Stamp Anniething.

Please be aware that this post contains affiliate links, if you use one of them to make a purchase, I can get a chunk of change back. Thanks!

This awesome release contains stamps, stencils and dies too! Check out the Over the Moon Builder Die, Speak and Spell Builder Die, Redwoods Layering Stencil (TBC) and of course the 6×8 Stamp Set! Also remember if you join the Stamp Club you can receive all of the release at a bargain price, I will pop more details at the end of this post if you are interested.

Here is a close up of my version of the phoning home E.T. This is polychromo pencils on Kendal Manilla Buff Cardstock. I call this style of colouring “sticker style” and obvs this is also a CAS “Clean and Simple” card too. For my highlights I used a white posca pen and a white gel pen.

I used techniques you can find in the Swatch Class – Plaids an online class you can purchase in the Stamp Anniething Shop.

I used text from the stamp set with some text from the computer (Font is Uno) to create a new sentiment. Papers are from the Sunny Studio Classic Gingham 6×6 Set. The bling is from my stash and is Pure & Simple Glossies.

Thanks for joining me today! Part 2 coming up Friday! I have two more cards to share using the Phone Home Stamp Set.

Let me tell you a bit about the Stamp Club. I confess this is the first time I have really taken on board all of this, and what you get for your money! Seems like a steal! 😀

The subscription price is just $50.00 per month, offering you around 30% in savings compared to the regular price. And when the release includes extras, like a layered stencil as with this release, you still pay the same great price! (Plus free shipping for US and Canadian members) (If you are interested in becoming part of stamp club and you don’t live in or near those places, I suggest messaging Annie and checking if she can get things to you wherever you live, she is nice, it is worth an ask!)

This is what you get each month, all for the $50!

  • 1 – 6″ x 8″ Stamp Set: A high-quality stamp set to inspire your creativity.
  • 1 – Full Set of Coordinating Image Outline Dies: No need to fussy cut – these dies perfectly match your stamp set for easy, precise cuts every time.
  • 1 Stencil: Add texture and dimension to your designs with a coordinating stencil, perfect for backgrounds and layers.
  • 1 Builder Die: Create fun, layered designs with a unique builder die, ideal for adding extra creativity to your projects.
  • 20% Off Storewide Discount: Enjoy a generous discount on all products in the Stamp Anniething store.
  • Free Digital Images: Get access to exclusive digital images that complement your monthly stamp set and expand your creative possibilities.

Thanks for reading through this, it sounds like a great idea, especially if you find yourself buying parts of the monthly releases regularly. Each release contains not only the nice stamps (which is the bit I get) but some really innovative and creative extras!
