Happy Monday on a Friday! 🙂 This is a newly released digi from Dr.Digi, Monday Morning Mood and even tho I no longer get the joy of returning to an office after the weekend, I can remember needing coffee on a drip to keep going til 5pm!

And here is a close up of my version. It’s polychromo pencils on Kendal Manilla Buff and highlights using a white posca pen. I always enjoy colouring clothes and clothing textures. I don’t know how I managed to make Diane Abbott!
Sepia Stripes is defo my “go to” background paper. The is a coffee background paper set but I thought the pattern was a bit too dispersed to work well as a thin strip around the card. With the Sepia Stripes paper it is very easy to select parts of the paper and change the colours to match your topper (if you forget to think about the backing paper before you get colouring. I have never been that organised!
So I layered the topper onto my pre-printed card blank with 3 D foam tape. I was going to add some glitter and bling, but I didn’t want to ruin the desolate mood! Think I might send this to one of my chums who is having a hard time at work atm! Like a “Happy Retirement” card but an “Unluckily not retiring yet card”?
