Tough Turkey

Gobble Gobble. Tough Turkey digistamp from Dr.Digis! I wouldn’t mess with him, would you? In fact I would probably come over all Vegetarian in his presence, lol.

Here he is in the shop –

And here is my version, coloured with Polychromo Pencils on Kendal Manilla Buff Cardstock. I also used some white posca pen. I spent a lonnnnnng time looking at photos of turkeys, and actually that are super complicated in colours and patterns. So I just had to be inspired by the real thing, rather than going for accuracy!

When I printed my topper I also included a sentiment from the Christmas Sentiment Sheet 01. I created a card blank by directly printing some of the Tartan Backing Paper Set onto 300gsm card.

To finish off I grabbed some snowflake clay sprinkles (from Stamp Anniething) and glued a few on. Contemplating adding some glitter, but this is the card so far!

I’ve had Tough Turkey downloaded for a long time and it feels so good to see him finally coloured up! I was thinking of maybe doing a tutorial on bird colouring, let me know if it’s something you are interested in.
