Damp Douglas

Good DT day morning! This is the newly released Damp Douglas digistamp from Dr.Digi’s!

And this is what he looks like in the shop

And this is a close up of my version. Polychromo Pencils on Kendal Manilla Buff Cardstock. Highlights using a white Posca pen.

I used a resist technique to make the bubbles, drawing heavy circles in white pencil and then just gently adding some colour over and in between the white lines. The white is strong enough to resist the new colour, so the bubbles keep their outline/shape.

I used a sentiment from the Tea Time Sentiment Sheet 01. I printed the digi and the sentiment together on my topper.

For my background I used a paper from the Bubbles Backing Paper Set slightly changed to be a more turquoise shade.

I rounded the corners of my topper and added some enamel bling from the stash.

Thanks for joining me today for a soggy doggo card! I really enjoyed colouring this, and it was pretty speedy to colour too, always a nice bonus. I am the slowest colourer in the world, lol. See you soon.
