Just for a moment, imagine it’s May…and a Mermay card is entirely appropriate to post. Thank you. This is Dolphin Hugs (digi) from Sweet November Stamps! She was a freebie in a newsletter but she is now available for sale in the shop! It’s worth subscribing to the newsletter cos there is always a great freebie included!

And here is a close up of my version! I wasn’t actually colouring this to make up into a card, or share on the blog, I was messing around with “oil slick” hair, rainbow reflections and a zentangle waves idea! The end result was ok-ish, so I thought a few people that enjoy colouring would like how some of these effects worked out.

Once I had kinda snipped out the topper I layered her onto some papers from the “Into The Blue – 6 x 6 Paper Pad by Papermania & the Natural History Museum” which is a lovely pad but super hard to match up with anything else! A bit like millefiori beads, and many other craft supplies I could mention, lol.

The font is called Crinkle Cut Glass btw, it was kinda nice for the outside, but when I printed an inner for the card I wasn’t so sure about it.

Thank you for time traveling to May with me for this post! I wanted to share the colouring ideas with you even if the card isn’t amazing. I love a bit of rainbow goodness, always.
