Enchanting Spring Instahop!

Very excited to be part of the Enchanted Spring Insta Hop as part of the Sweet November Stamps Design Team!

Here is the official blurb – The Spring season brings with it its own kind of magic.  The world is suddenly filled with colour and brighter days after the long winter months and it is that breath of fresh air that Sweet November Stamps has captured with our new Enchanted Spring clear stamp release.  There are 10 new stamp sets and 2 sequin mixes that are absolutely enchanting.  Once again, we are hosting an Insta-Hop featuring both the Sweet November design team and the team from Crafty Purple Frog, our exclusive UK stockist.  As always, one lucky crafter will walk away with the entire release!   All you have to do is visit each designer’s account provided below, follow them, and leave a comment on their SNS post. You have Saturday, Sunday and Monday, April 13th, 14th and 15th to participate in the hop. Tuesday, we will announce the random winner on the Sweet November Instagram page.

To go and take part, please head to my instagram account, click the first picture, which is my hop project and you can see the full list of places to hop to and all the t&c’s.

I chose the clear stamp “Shello” from the new release to colour up! I love colouring snails, they are a great excuse to colour textures and patterns all over!

Here is a close up of my colouring, I used polychromo pencils and white posca pen. I am not sure why I suddenly needed to colour up some fuchsias, but I did, and it seemed to brighten Shello to a new level!

It’s an amazing release and the hop is a lovely way to look at all the new products and get some inspo for how to use them. I defo think it’s worth doing a follow and comment on every instahop picture, but if you haven’t the time, then just go see the projects. My SNS teamies are the business! 🙂 Start at my post and the links are in the description.

To make up my 6×6 card I used a wood paper from the M&C Driftwood pack I got from The Works, and some pink paper from an ancient Hawthorn and Bramble Paper Pad. it actually has little white lines in swirls on it….a bit like a snail trail, lol! Then I added a pink strip from my offcuts and some pink bling from the stash. I couldn’t help myself adding some stickles at the end, to highlight bits of the picture.

Thanks for joining me today, for the hop too if you fancy a crack at it? I never got what you were meant to do for a hop for YEARS and was too scared to ask and find out, so just in case you are like me… here goes!

  • Click the link to my instagram account and then click on my first picture of Shello.
  • Below that picture in the description box, is some info and a list of all the people who have a photo of a project that is part of the hop.
  • You need to click on every account, make sure you are following them and leave a comment on their hop picture. (You can either visit them all via my description box OR as everyone else will have the list, and marked where they are on it, you can literally just hop between the accounts, from picture to picture, using the list in each of their description boxes!)
  • So 20 accounts, make sure you leave a comment on the 20 hop pictures and follow the 20 crafter’s accounts.
  • Then you get entered to win the prize!

I know that is mainly teaching grannies to suck eggs but maybe it will help one lost soul like me!
