Happy Year of the Dragon!

Today I am coming to you with the power of Youtube! Please follow, like, subscribe, comment…. Anything to fuel that YouTube algorithm! Thank you!

This is Ellio the Dragon Digistamp with a Chinese New Year Glow Up!

I coloured with Polychromo Pencils on Faber Castell Sketch Pad 160 gsm cardstock. I wont say this is my preferred white paper for oil pencils, but it is the one I hate least! I also used a White Posca Pen and Black Micron Pen.

The Polychromos I used are 101,108,115,118,225,123,140,157,199,177,187

For my background I used inks and pencils through stencils. For my temple I mainly used pencils and the Asian Living Stencil Builder. I loved using this to make a temple in my “Betty in Japan” card previously!

And for the rest of the scene, also from Stamp Anniething I used the Bamboo Stencil, Cloud Stencil Builder, Grass Stencil Builder with Stamp Anniething Hybrid Inks, Sky, Freesia, Bamboo and Willow Bough.

To add a bit of fun to the card I also popped on a few mushrooms and a heart from the Stamp Anniething clay sprinkles selections! (Red Circle Hearts Sprinkles)

I enjoyed giving Ellio a different theme, tho I loved using him last time as an Easter card too! Turns out dragon stamps are quite versatile! 😀

Thank for joining me today and early good wishes for the coming new year! I am a fire dragon btw, so it is defo my year!
