After my friend Inma suggested that I should share some other pencil colour combos for the Build a Caring Bear Mini Bundle I thought I should probably try some out before I share them with the people that have bought the set! (People who bought the first release of the set also had access to a free pencil class from me for a green version of the bear!)
The new colours are now in a pdf that you can see once you log into the Build a Caring Bear lesson at Color Youniversity. You have to have enrolled in the course for that particular class to appear on your “deck”. To see all the classes available you may need to create a free account at Color Youniversity.
For this card I printed my greeting onto a 13x13cm piece of Kendal Manilla Buff Cardstock and 3D foamed my bears on to it. I used papers from Destination Maldives Paper Pad and the Summer Tropics Paper Pad for my background papers. (And some scraps of yellow from the stash!)
Here is the set in the shop. A second wave of the mini bundle should be available very soon.
Here is a big close up of my new half/half bears, I was surprised how fun they looked with two moods! So I was going to just use them for a reference photo, but I liked them so much I made them up into a card too!
For this I used Polychromo Pencils, but in the info for the course I have also included the pencil names, so you should be able to pick similar colours from whatever brand you are using. Fur technique works well with wax pencils too (Polychromos are oil pencils) but you might want to pick a more toothy cardstock for wax pencils!

So the full list of colours for all the bears is now available with the class video and details as a pdf file. The colour combos cover most colour variations of the traditional bear colours, but don’t feel limited to just them! Any probs, pop me a message here or on facebook!
