Doing a spot of Guest Designing for La La Land Crafts today and was lucky enough to have the awesome newly released Monster Birthday Stamp Set to work with. Needless to say it was right up my street, lol!
I did a group of the monsters thoroughly enjoying the party! So much fun to add on hats, crowns, cakes, balloons and things! And I love colouring fur as well as balloons!
And here is what the stamp set looks like in the shop –
I decided to use a restricted colour palette for this, in the hope of it coming together in a combined image, rather than looking too bitty and discombobulated! As normal, I used polychromo pencils on kraft cardstock. Highlights were made using a White Posca Pen. I also added some stickles glitter to the ground.
My sentiment was from the stamp set and I used some papers from the stash for my backing on a 6″x6″ card base. Bling also from the stash.
Thanks for joining me for my GDT post! When I had coloured this one I was struck with two ideas for two more colourings! So I will post up my next cards using this set soon!
