Olentzero

Do you find it fascinating learning about what other people do for Christmas? I love hearing about my friends plans and their traditions. I was really excited to learn about Spanish folklore when I was sent Olentzero to colour up from Elvi Studio! Olentzero is the Spanish equivalent of Santa, ish!

Here is what he looks like in the shop, when you download him you will get him in more than one format, so you should get the version/type you need! I chose one with a pipe!

And here is a close up of my version, coloured with polychromo pencils on kraft card. I tried to add some glow from the lantern to his body and I enjoyed adding some tartan to his outfit! Am not sure what was in his parcel sack but I think I made it look a bit like toast, lol!

I added highlights with a white posca pen and some sparkle to the ground with stickles. Background paper and bling from the stash.

Thanks for joining me for my final Elvi Studio post of the year (unless I feel productive and sneak in an extra one!) and I look forward to sharing more Elvi Studio stamps with you in 2023!
