Back with more from the awesome November Release at La La Land Crafts. My final two official cards for now, but I mayyyyy have printed out quite a few more bears to colour up, lol!
This time I am using the Silent Night Clear Stamp Set, and the awesome bears it contains!! I went with a polar bear to start with!
He is so cute!!!! Let me show you what the stamp set looks like, here it is in the shop –
It also has the most awesome sentiments, but before I get distracted, here is a close up of my polar version –
This is quite a small scale for me, it’s easier to work bigger with pencils, so I worked hard to fit in the normal level of details and the normal layers of fur 🙂 If you would like to know how I colour fur, there is lots of info in my colouring faq.
I also used some other cool things from the release/shop for this card. I went a bit old-school traditional with my matting and layering, but I wanted a way to show off the lovely papers from the Very Merry Paper Pack! I also used a couple of dies, the cloud from the Crescent Moon Die and two boughs from the Pine Needles Die
I used bits from the stash too, red card for layering, circle die etc as well as some awesome new enamel stars I bought at the NEC yesterday, big craft show 🙂 Little snowflakes also from the stash. And I added a bit of stickles at the end to make the water sparkle, because it’s a Christmas card and I can!
