My second post for today (first one here), sharing some more products from the La-La Land Crafts November 2022 release! This time I worked with the Stay Cozy Luka Rubber Stamp!
Here is what the stamp looks like in the shop –
And here is a close up of my version. He is mainly coloured with Polychromo pencils on Kendal Manilla Buff Cardstock. Added some highlights with white Posca pen. Also added some tiny gold stars to the Xmas trees on his jumper and a little white pompom to his hat!
I was lucky enough to also use some of the other products in the release, so I could assemble a complete card. I did use some gems/sequins from my own stash for the embellishments. The sentiment I used is from the Blizzard of Hugs Marci stamp.
I also used the Very Merry Paper Pack and the Wreath with Bow die.
I loved adding some extra details to the stamp, so I added a floppy bit to his hat and knitting pattern to his hat and scarf. I went for a simple Xmas design on his jumper and decided that adding knit pattern over the top was just too hard, lol, so imagine it’s sweatshirt material please! Also gave him some rips in his jeans and a few details to turn his boots in to Doc Martens! I decided to go with a orange hue darker skin tone so altered his hair into braids too for fun.
So that was the second of my two cards today. I thought I would pop in a couple of photos of my two cards together at the end of this post. So here is Blizzard of Hugs Marci and Stay Cozy Luka together. I tried to make them into a “pair” of cards, to maybe give away to two related people!
I am super pleased with how they came out. I can’t wait to share my other project with you later this week, this was a super fun release to work with!
