The Only Way is Up!

Baby! It’s you and me now! Did you sing it? Apologies, it’s a right ear worm, if you are a child of the 80/90’s! 😀 Today is my Elvi Studio DT day and I am sharing some fanart today with Carl (digistamp).

This is what Carl looks like in the shop –

And I did a big close up of my version, thought seeing the details close up might be interesting!

As normal it’s all polychromos and a white posca pen. I printed out the digi with text (East Coast Stationery Font) as a complete topper and then 3D foam mounted that onto the background. The wood papers were from the stash, wanted to keep a neutral colour scheme apart from the balloon. You can buy the exact cardstock I am using if you are in the U.S. from here.

I really love how he came out, obviously I really enjoyed studying the original animated version to see how they had coloured him up and took all my lighting inspo from that. The Disney artists are just amazing, trying to emulate their skills was a major challenge!
