Time for a new Annabel’s Zany Holiday Class! Happy belated World Parrot Day!

We had such fun designing this stamp for a course mainly focusing on feathers! It’s very much the same technique as fur, so not at all difficult, just lots of layers! Also we go over some simple fur again, and how to combine fur into clumps for a different kind of texture!

It was great to work with some lovely bright colours, as normal the colour list and material list are available before you pay for the course – here. I always use polychromos, and this time I use the 24 set and 132 beige red, no others. I include a conversion list with the materials list if you are using prismacolours. For most of this course, they’ll work pretty much the same as the oil pencils!
Colour Recipe for Polychromos –
Skin – 101, 132, 190
Reds – 121, 177, 219, 225
Yellows – 107, 109, 115
Blues – 110, 151
Grey – 271, 274, 199

I really love working with the Let’s Get Wild 6×6 Paper Pad too, it was perfect for our Macaw! I used the foliage card mat die, but it would be easy to achieve the same effect using rectangle dies and leaf dies, it’s just green background foliage for her to sit on! Remember you get a discount code for the items I used when you sign up for the course!

Remember if you subscribe to the courses for this year you get a 25% discount on the classes too! Head to Color Youniversity to get more details – Here
