Sirenas!

Popping in with my May Elvi Studio project, lol, I know, I am all out of sync! Thought I would go abit WIP style with these four mermaids I have coloured up, but I’ve not decided on the perfect project for them yet, do you have any ideas? You can find the mermaids in the Elvi Studio Etsy Shop and Kofi Shop!

These mermaids are called Nyx, Cordelia, Naida and Freda! You can buy them individually, and there are more to choose from, I just picked these out as some of my favourites! And it was Mer-May so I HAD to colour up some mermaids! lol.

Here are the one’s I coloured with polychromos, close up! I also used a white posca pen for the highlights.

This is Naida! I wondered if I could get in a different skin tone and hair texture but still keep the colouring style I had achieved with the other mermaids.

This is Nyx, I was tempted to give her completely grin skin but decided this flesh/green combo might look quite fishy!

This is Freda, I went super bright colours with her, to start with, but as I added in all the layers of detail she seemed to not be quite so lurid?? She is still pretty colour pop-ful tho!

This is Cordelia! I really enjoyed researching some anemones and borrowing from natures colour palette.
