Are you in the mood for lurve? No, nor me! But I thought this very pink pig might fit a very pink Valentine’s card! 😀 Also, awful pun that needed to be aired, lol. This is the new digi from Dr.Digi’s House of Stamps called – Pigs on the Wing! I admit this is the third card I made with her, the first two had to be scrapped because they were just too similar to the awesome cards the rest of the DT made, whoops! 😀

And here is a close up of my version! The stickles hadn’t dried when I took this, I was too impatient, and in the cold craft room, it seems to take hours to dry!
The keen eyed among you may have spotted she is on white paper, not kraft card! I have been experimenting with many many white papers to try and find something that is easy to use and fun! This has been my fav so far, it’s from Faber Castell and is called the Arts and Graphics Sketch Pad 160 gsm. (£7 for 40 sheets, not too expensive.) It’s a bit too toothy for me, so I am still on the hunt.
For the background I used distress inks through the Hearts Stencil Builder from Stamp Anniething, along with some metallic gold colour spritz, so it’s super sparkley! I also popped on some bubble gum diamonds and some pink sequins from the stash.
I also used three different ribbons from my stash the make a strip of different colour/texture across the card! I added my greeting in an arch shape. The font is East Coast Stationery, one of my favs! Right at the end, I popped some glitter on her wings, cos why not? 😉
