Welsh Birthday

My first Dr.Digi card for 2022, and for DT day today I am bring you a very Welsh Dafydd the Dragon. He is coloured with polychromos, as usual, on kraft cardstock! I have some friends who live in Wales, so I think they will enjoy the Welsh Birthday Greeting too!

I also downloaded the Soccer Backing Paper Set and used that for my background paper. I recoloured the red version to be even redder, then printed it out directly onto 300gsm white card, for my card blank.

I coloured him without the pattern first, so all red with the shading and highlights. Then I added the pattern, which was not dissimilar to the pattern of the soccer paper (above). Then I added in light and shadow to make them more dimensional! 🙂
