Shaker Balloons!

Doing a different kind of Stamp Anniething card today, some Shaker Balloons! It is a commissioned card and I was given a very particular colour palette to use for it. The lady it is for runs an amazing creative helium balloon company.

The balloons are just coloured card stock and the Shaker Basics Set 1 from Stamp Anniething. It has revolutionised my desire and ability to make shakers, it makes things sooooo much easier.

I cut both the filled and empty circles from three different cardstocks, constructed the shakers with 3D foam (This time, though repeat cutting the circles to make a tower normally works best!) and sandwiched them between some pearl cardstocks. Then I just lined things up!

I am very blessed to have an amazing collection of shaker bits from Stamp Anniething and had a great time picking my mixes for the balloons

I also needed to include rose gold in the card some how, and I’m not sure why I thought rose gold leaf would be easy because it definitely wasn’t. I think I might be doomed with it! Eventually I just leafed stripes on one balloon using double sided tape and the layer behind the greeting. I don’t dislike the result but, so much faff! lol!

Once I had done all the balloons and the Greeting I added on a few Valentine Enamel Dots, really nice set, I have used mine up!

Thanks for joining me today for something a bit different! I had quite a few failed attempts before this design and layout, but probably learnt a lot along the way, at least I hope I did, lol!
