Hi All! I thought I would just do a quick blog post to mark the amazing free stamp event at Stamp Anniething!
Link here to download the 8 free stamps They will only be available for the 10th and 11th Dec.
Link here to the facebook group where you can watch all the videos starting at 11 a.m. EST.
My main card is a the reindeer and I have done a video colouring him for part of the event. I will approx go live at 5 p.m. EST. When I can, I will add a link to it HERE. It might only be available for short time, so watch it as soon as you can.
Here is the finished card I made so you can see how he came out in the end.

Here is the colour recipe I used to colour him up
Antler and Hooves = 101 White, 104 Light Yellow Glaze, 177 Walnut Brown, 180 Raw Umber
Eyes = 101 White, 199 Black, 234 Cold Grey V
Nose = 101 White, 177 Walnut Brown, 190 Venetian Red
Fur = 101 White, 177 Walnut Brown, 187 Burnt Ochre, 190, 199 Black, 232 Cold Grey III, 234 Cold Grey V
Snow: 101 White, 140 Light Ultramarine, 140 Ultramarine White Posca Pen.
And I also used a white posca pen for highlights.

For the background I used one of the papers from the Holidayville 6×6 Paper Set. And tiny snowflakes from the Snowflake Sprinkles.

Also I wasn’t entirely sure if the Ice/Water Horse was being coloured up for the event, so I decided I should colour up a spare, lol!

I was a “pony kid” when I was little, I still love horses even tho I have a life completely without them these days. They were also included in every piece of art I made between about 7 to 16 yrs old! I would still quite like to do a fluffy version of this chap!

I spent ages on the winter scene in the background and then almost lost it all when I did the horse, I wanted him to appear see-thru, not sure that worked out tho, lol.

Not sure I need to share my colour recipe, it was mainly 101, 120 and 140! I also used the Dark indigo for my extreme shadow colour. When I coloured the horse, to make him slightly different from the background, I added in a bit of a more turquoise tone.
Hope you all really enjoyed the event to today! And you got lots of ideas, tricks and tips from the videos! I hope everyone has a lovely winter holiday!
