A set of contemporary flower cards!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to make a quick post and show you the final set of cards I made using the magical-gloss-photo-paper-ink (Magpie?) technique and the five new flower stamps in the second installment of the Annie’s Garden Collection from Stamp Anniething.

These are the two cards I made up at the end of my live, which you can still catch here in the Stamp Anniething Stampers facebook group, you will need to be a member to watch the replay.

And later on, using my new backing papers that I had made in the live , I followed the same process to make an extra 3 cards. Again I used sentiments that come with the flower stamps and the hug, hello, happy and thanks word dies.

As well as the word dies I used two stencils, on the Sunflower card I used the Fossil Stencil, and on the Waterlily card and Poppy Card I used the Geo Triangle Stencil, both with Obsidian Blank Hybrid Ink also from Stamp Anniething.

The other supplies I used are Photo Paper ( I am using Canon Pixma Photo Paper Plus Glossy II PP-201, I have tried with a few cheaper glossy papers but nothing else as successfully) and Distress Oxide Sprays. (I have dried marigold, ripe persimmon, picked raspberry and mermaid lagoon.) You can achieve a similar result using standard distress inks but you don’t get the magic polish & reveal that you get with the oxides.

Thank you very much for popping in to see the final set and a big thanks to everyone who came and supported me during the live! Always love to chat to you!
