Happy Stamp Anniething DT day! Also known as Tuesday! For my live this month I had a play with watercolour backgrounds and then the pencil-stencil thing over the top! I ended up making four backgrounds and have now processed them into usable cards! I love making backgrounds from play/mess/experiment sessions.
I am going to start with the top right background that I made using the Mountain Stencil Builder.
I made this specifically to work with the Cadmus – Have a Faun Day Stamp Set. (You can also have a perfect fit die to use him with).
And here is the card I made –
I always worry that the pencil work I do on kraft card can look rather washed out when combined with the things using white card as the base, but this time, I think it worked out ok!
Couldn’t resist those little furry legs! lol! I just matted and layered my watercolour and pencil background onto grey and blue. Then I added the Faun and the sentiment using 3D foam.
I’ve got four cards to post today, so shall chat again soon! I feel very productive, normally takes me several days to make one, lol.
