Pengado.

Pengado’s are thing, it’s a fact! Half penguin, half avocado! lol. When I was discussing with Sherry West sponsoring an event at Digimojo she shared a couple of recent sketches with me, so as you would expect, I couldn’t resist and coloured them up! Here is the first card I made, I will share the other one tomorrow.

Unlike normal this isn’t a digistamp in a shop, it’s a lovely illustration from Sherry who is a very talented artist, author and illustrator. You can keep up with her current work in her facebook group – Sherry West Art.

I made it a little lighter so you can see an attempt at a purple/green/blue sheen to the black penguin feathers?? I tried, lol!

I am not sure about the glints in his eyes, I liked that it gave him some quirky personality but also makes him look a bit shifty! lol

Thanks for joining me today. It was nice to share another artist with my friends, and I enjoyed working with these illustrations very much.
