My official Stamp Anniething DT day is quite a long way from release day, so between now and then I thought I might make a few extra cards using my current obsession, Distress Oxide Sprays on Photo paper! Do you get a technique you can’t leave alone?

So I thought I would use some awesome SA stencils ( Abstract Sun and Diamond Lattice) and spray oxides through them onto photo paper. The result is a jewel like! It’s so amazing to wipe away the cloud that forms on the paper and see the glossy bright colours underneath. Obsessed!

After I’d had a few goes with stencils I did a few off cuts just with the bright spray colours to get the spotty stipple effect. I chopped all of these up to make all my backing papers for both cards. Colour scheme somewhat restricted by me only having 4 sprays, lol! 😀
I stamped Gigi and Zac onto smooth white paper and coloured their skin a very orange hue with copics. Then I stamped them onto bits of my coloured photo paper and gave them paper-pieced outfits and hair. I love a Miami Vice colour scheme! 😀
Here is my Zac card –

And here is my Gigi card –

I am really but absurdly proud of my tennis ball embellishments, made with Martha Stewart Paper Clay! It was harder than I thought. I may have spent several hours just to make 3 tennis balls, lol. But so worth it, yes? On Zac I added some Rainbow Enamel Dots. If I’d have had some white paper clay tho…. another few hours would have been wasted, lol!

How do you feel about adding charms to cards? I wish I could remember to do it more. My bakers twine wasn’t very co-operative that day!

Thanks for joining me on a random extra sporty Stamp Anniething Day! Hope you are having a fun weekend!
