It’s been a very long time since I have made a card using a Gorjuss Girl (from Santoro) image! I had lots of retro craft feelings, especially being frustrated that I couldn’t colour them in the way that I liked! Ten years on, I can now colour them, so I thought I should drag my stash into the light and colour a few up (I was also challenged by my friend Ana!)

This is New Heights! I went with a completely trad Gorjuss colour scheme, red and black! This is the largest Gorjuss Stamp I own so this is an A5 card. I also raided my stash of Gorjuss papers and embellishments to help with the card. Found some nice badges, so decided to make it a badge card, and skip using a sentiment.

Really enjoyed this! After tackling Garfield the other day I have found a passion for returning to old craft/art obsessions and seeing how far I have moved on. I know if you are going to compare yourself to anyone, it should just be a younger version of yourself, but that’s not always easy! But it definitely more rewarding than comparing yourself to others, which I am often guilty of.

Whilst saving these photos I found what I think is a photo of my last gorjuss card, in 2015! I can’t remember making it, and I have no idea why I only saved this weirdly cropped image. Thought I would share it with you too!

Thank for joining me on this nostalgic post! Do you have craft stash that you are hoarding from the beginning of you craft obsession that you might return to eventually? x
