Our Friendship is a Gift!

For today’s live I am colouring eyes! And I want to show you some speedy options for pencil coloured eyes you can use with all your Stamp Anniething Stamps. I used these techniques to colour the eyes on all my Mei Yin – Our Friendship is a Gift Stamp on my cards below –

You can watch back my video by clicking this link! You will need to be part of the Stamp Anniething Stampers Facebook Group. It will also be available a short while after on the Stamp Anniething YouTube Channel.

I have stuck to using 24 pencils in the 24 Polychromo Tin. In the video I may mention other colours from the larger selection I have that are useful additions.

For Green eyes – using 264 Dark Phthalo Green, 171 Light Green, 107 Cadium Yellow and 199 Black (Whites of the eyes are 101 White and 140 Light Ultramarine.)

Also for this card I used – the Grass Stencil Builder, the Diamond Lattice Stencil, Luck of the Irish 6×6 Paper Pad , Conquer the World and Tropical Enamel Dots and the inks I used were – Freesia, Aspen Gold and Parakeet

For Brown eyes – 190 Venetian Red, 177 Walnut Brown, 109 Dark Chrome Yellow and 115 Dark Cadium Orange plus 199 Black. (White of the eyes are 101 White and 274 Warm Grey.)

Also for this card I used the Boomerang Stencil, Love is in the Air 6×6 Paper Pad, Valentine Enamel Dots and for the inks – Blossom and Shocking Pink

For Blue eyes -151 Helioblue-Reddish, 120 Ultramarine, 140 Light Ultramarine, 110 Phthalo Blue. For the whites of the eyes, 101 White and 274 Warm Grey.

I also used the Home Stencil Builder, The Magical Celebrations 6×6 Paper Pad, The Down the Rabbit Hole 6×6 Paper Pad, The Welcome Spring 6×6 Paper Pad, Rainbow Enamel Dots and for the inks – Clear Skies, Caribbean Sea, Azure.

To make a more golden eye, I used more 107 and 109 Yellows, with 115 Dark Cadium Orange and Venetian Red. Concentrating on an amber result rather than brown.

I also used the Home Stencil Builder, Autumn Life 6×6 Paper Pad and for inks – Birch, Crimson, Freesia and Aspen Gold

Thanks for joining me today, I hope if you watched the Live or the Later version it was fun and interesting to mess about with eyeballs! Colouring the eyes is probably my favourite bit of any chibi stamp! 😀
