Happy Thanksgiving to my friends that celebrate it, and Happy Dr.Digi Friyay too! This is the awesome new christmas digistamp – Pugsley!
As I often make a card for a friend with a little black pug, I had to tackle black fur, which I think is the hardest fur I ever do!
Here he is in the shop, so you can see what I started with-
And here is my version coloured in polychromos with some white posca pen and a bit of white gel pen too! –
I also used for my background the red version from the Paw Prints Backing Paper Set –
Would really like to have another go at Pugsley in standard tan colours too, it would be a very different experience than wrestling for all those hours trying to make black look right! lol.
Font is Dacquoise. I may well add some glossy accents to his nose and eyes, and even the baubles, but I thought I’d photograph him nude first so you could see what was happening with the colouring! Added some bling from the stash in one corner too.
