Sharing a quick card today using a Mo’s Digital Pencil stamp called “A Good Book”.
I enjoyed doing some paper piecing the other day, but later it occurred to me that I didn’t have to cut anything, I could just insert patterns directly into the image before printing them out! So this time I did just that but left a few areas blank and used Copics to colour them in, plus add shadows to the areas I had already printed.
I also decoupaged the image, making a window for the text on the first layer and then on the next cutting out everything in the foreground and finally the wing of the chair for the top layer. I also added some silver bling for the upholstery studs on the arm chair.
The background image was one I downloaded ages ago as a wallpaper, took me a while to find the original artist. I think you can still download it for free here from the artist’s site.
